Walt was written in the lyric chromatic structure (about Walt Dickerson vibraphone voice). It employs an extensive a fixed gamut of tones in expansion, depending for its performance on the sustaining of resonance. 

The notation is traditional. Time is free. Employing various instruments and musicians which was never completed with repetition of melodic fragments.
